What I found ironic was that the classic story of the Garden of Eden repeated itself. Man always chooses freedom of choice with suffering rather than perfect surroundings with no choice. I wonder how God compares to the Benefactor. Both created an Utopia. Both had "lesser" people rebel against their versions of paradise. God expelled man, and the Benefactor executed them. Considering the suffering which is in many ways the reality in which we live, my question is, who was more merciful, God or the Benefactor?
