Russian 1501 and 1502 are prerequisites, but do not count toward the minor.

For the minor, 18 hours of course work is necessary from courses approved for the major.

RUSN 2301, 2302 (or their equivalents), and 2303 are required for all students seeking a minor.

Nine hours of upper division credits are required for the minor.  At least three of these must be senior level.

Courses taken for the Russian Language and Area Studies major or minor may not be used to satisfy the requirements for the student’s other major or minor.

In addition, the standard requirements for a Bachelor of Arts degree must be met.

Prior to enrolling in the program and to registering for courses, students should consult Professor Qualin or Professor Sunseri.
