We need at least one financial planner who is qualified to assist senior planners in operating our Wealth Management System. This job is available now in Wolfeboro, NH, and we hope to fill it within 60 days.

Duties will include:

  1. Becoming an expert on ExecPlan financial planning software and working with an assistant who will do the financial analysis.

  2. Creating financial models in MS Excel, including @Risk (a Monte Carlo simulation package). (We will provide training in @Risk).

  3. Assisting in the preparation of tax forecasts, especially for clients with ISOs and NQSO. Most of our clients have AMT problems every year.

  4. On a quarterly basis, reviewing investment accounts, updating the client's balance sheet, cash flow and income tax forecast. Developing an agenda of items to be reviewed and discussed with the client.

  5. Assisting with the implementation of financial planning recommendations.

We have about 160 clients, 110 of whom are very active. Our average client's net worth is in excess of $20 million. Many of the new clients coming in are over $100 million. We take on about 3-5 new clients per month.

We are a fee only firm, so no product sales licenses are allowed. Any applicant holing a product license will have to drop it before joining the firm. We are willing to consider an applicant fresh out of school, so long as the applicant is fully trained as a financial planner - i.e. has passed all of the CFP courses.

This is a very demanding work environment. We need someone of superior intelligence, who is able to learn very quickly.
