SOME HISTORY OF CHRISTIANITY RESOURCES ON THE INTERNET

APS Guide to Resources in Theology, including Anglican resources, Catholic resources, ecumenical resources, evangelical resources, manuscripts, Orthodox resources, Protestant resources, textual resources, and miscellaneous resources.

"Biblical Studies Resource Pages." A Norwegian gateway site to bible texts, translations and related texts; to electronically published biblical studies; to biblical studies and computer technology.

"Christian Resources Found on the Internet." Gateway site to (largely Protestant) creeds, confessions, catechisms, and sermons; also includes links to "Bibles on the Internet."

Domus Gratiani: Homepage for Gratian Studies. Resources and references to canon law studies.

"The Ecole Initiative: Creating a Hypertext Encyclopedia of Early Church History on the Worldwide Web." Includes translations of Judeo-Christian and Islamic Primary Sources to 1500; a glossary, short and long essays, and a timeline with Geographical Cross-Index.

"Guide to Catholic Sources." Encyclicals and other documents.

"The Labyrinth: A Disciplinary Server for Medieval Studies." Includes gateway menus for medieval "Philosophy and Theology" and "Religious History."

Non-Canonical Christian Texts. A guide to Christian apocrypha, both texts and studies.

The Online Medieval and Classical Library (OMACL) is a collection of some of the most important literary works of Classical and Medieval civilization. The Christian Classics Ethereal Library link includes many early Christian Texts.

ORB [On-line Reference Book for Medieval Studies]. Conceived as a complete medieval bibliography and encyclopedia, its grandiose conception is far from being actualized. Most of the section on "RELIGION" is not yet up and running. However, the subsections on religious orders are in place.

"Origins of Christianity." Paul Halsall's collection of methodological studies and of original documents.

Religion Society and Culture in Newfundland and Labrador: Pages of Dr. Hans Rollmann, Department of Religious Studies, Memorial University of Newfundland. Contains primary sources and images for religious traditions currently found in Newfundland and Labrador.

Selected Sites in American Religious History.   Includes selected sites, research organizations, journals, directories, online texts, and contemporary American religions, assembled by H-AmRel (History of American Religion), a member of H-Net Humanities & Social Sciences OnLine.

Société des Bollandistes on "Christian Hagiography." The primary site for material on Christian saints, including "More about Saints," "Hagiography around the World," and "Web Sites for Hagiographers."

Web Sites of Interest to Catholic History, assembled by H-Catholic, a member of H-Net Humanities & Social Sciences OnLine, devoted to promoting the discussion and study of the history and culture of Catholicism.
