The Hall of Fame offers an online feature of the 3000 hit club which grew dramatically in the 1990s.

John Skilton's People and Players links offer an alphabetical introduction to web pages many of which deal with stars of the 1990s. Try any of the 14 sites for Ken Griffey Jr., but remember that these sites come and go quickly and the most reliable information is available at the official or team related sites.

Cal Ripken's streak is the subject of an extensive feature in the Washington Post Flashback section. You can also visit Cal's official site. The Hall of Fame compares Ripken's and Lou Gehrig debuts and finales in an online exhibit, Rookies and Legends. This exhibit also compares Tony Gwynn and Stan Musial.

Information with images on Nolan Ryan is available at the Dallas Morning News Nolan Ryan feature and the Houston Chronicle's The Ryan Express feature.

CNNSI offers features on Tony Gwynn, Wade Boggs, and Derek Jeter as well as 1999 Hall of Fame Inductees Nolan Ryan, George Brett, and Robin Yount.
