A timeline of events from 1764 to 1775 is offered by the Library of Congress which extends another timeline from 1776 to 1789 as a part of its Documents from the Continental Congress and Constitutional Convention exhibit.

The Franco-American treaties of 1778 are explored in the Library of Congress Today in History feature for February 6, and The Treaty of Paris which ended the Revolutionary War is the Today in History, feature for January 14 and a second feature for September 3.

Painter Jonathan Trumbull is the second feature of the Library of Congress, Today in History for June 6.
